Mint Linux

Linux Mint is a distribution of the GNU/Linux operating system based on Ubuntu from Canonical Ltd. The aim of this distribution is to develop an elegant and user-friendly operating system.
The distribution Linux Mint is basically Ubuntu with some changes. These include:

* mintConfig: clear control center inspired by SUSE's Slab, based on USP
* mintMenu: a menu that makes it easier to start programs inspired by SUSE's Slab, based on USP
* mintDesktop: Program for setting the desktop and automatic mounting of Windows networks
* mintDisk: Program that automatically attaches FAT32 and NTFS partitions
* mintWifi: allows the configuration of wifi cards
* Codecs: for encoded DVDs, MP3, DivX, Win32 in the default installation
* Plugins: Adobe Flash 9 Beta, Sun Java 1.5 Update 9
* Instructions: among other things for installing Wifi cards
* NdisWrapper: for the use of Windows drivers from wireless network cards, including a graphical user interface.
