The 15.6 inch large screen is like all TUXEDO Books matt / antireflective and can display a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, this corresponds Full-HD!
Compared to the usual notebooks, the BC1506 can be equipped with Intel desktop processors of the T-Series! Thus with up to an Intel Core i7 T quad-core processor up to an Intel Core i7 T, also with 32 GB of DDR4 memory.
The standard DVD writer can be replaced by a Blu-ray burner or even an additional hard disk drive.
With the hard disk on the fast SATA3 port (6Gb/s) you can either choose a classic 2.5 "hard disk in HDD form or an SSD. In addition, you can also choose a SSD in M. 2 form. If this is not enough, it is possible to replace the DVD writer with another hard disk and add another HDD or SSD as third hard disk here, too!
You can provide the necessary network connections via WLAN, Bluetooth or via cable-based Gigabit-LAN. In addition, you can also add an UMTS-/LTE-Modem. The other features also leave nothing to be desired: 2 MP HD Webcam incl. micro, 1x USB3.1 Type-C, 2x USB3.1 and 1x USB2.0, HDMI, VGA D-Sub, Card-Reader and of course one port for each card reader.
We install Ubuntu and TUXEDO_OS (based on Ubuntu Budgie) in the latest 64-bit version.
For advanced users and selected devices we also offer openSUSE 15 with Xfce, Gnome or KDE plasma. Of course fully configured and installed with all available updates and device drivers.
For "self-installers" and everyone who is interested, we have set up a database with downloads, instructions, tips & tricks and offer a customization script called "tuxedo.sh", which makes our customizations automatically under openSUSE and Ubuntu: Help & Support Section | tuxedo.sh
Encrypted Installation
On request we install your Linux system completely encrypted. The pre-installation as dualboot with Windows is technically not possible.

If you don't want or can't do without Windows, we install the desired Windows version next to Linux or alone. Please understand that a dual-boot installation can take 1-2 working days longer even though the process is fully automatic. Depending on the model, the essential hardware components such as processor, drive, hard disks, RAM, WIFI modules etc. can be accessed via maintenance flaps or removable floor trays. Furthermore the battery is replaceable if not stated differently. Of course, even after expiration of your warranty period, we're offering replacement parts and service for many years!

Temperature controlled silent fan
At low system workload/stress there is less heat emerging. The cooling system fans have to spin accordingly fast or slow or even turn themselves off completely. But the device doesn't produce any disturbing noises even at full load, no high frequency sounds or clatter, just air swooshing.
Custom fan control with the TUXEDO Control Center
With the TUXEDO Control Center you are able to control the behavior of the fans at yourself. This means that you get the ability to make your device as silent as possible. You are able to set the device almost passive cooled, without any fan noise most of the time!
We are personally there for you Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm (German time). But also outside these times, you can contact our team with your request by e-mail.
