Display in Premium Quality

In addition to a high-brightness 500 nits panel with anti-glare coating, full sRGB color gamut and 300 Hz refresh rate for ultra high-speed gaming at a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, the new HDR Mini LED display takes image quality to the next level.

The new premium monitor relies on much smaller and brighter light-emitting diodes, which allow many more of them to be fitted in order to illuminate the screen more punctually than on standard LED panels to massively boost contrast with perfect blacks using »local dimming« (optional).

With a peak brightness of 750 nits (SDR) or 1000 nits (HDR) and a anti-glare coating, the mini LED display is greatly suited for outdoor use and light-flooded indoors, while the 25% larger DCI-P3 color space allows for professional use and the 2560x1600 pixels and 300 Hz offer excellent conditions for most demanding gaming.

Desktop replacement with mobility skills: Despite being primarily meant as portable desktop replacement, the Stellaris 16 cuts a fine figure when it comes to mobility thanks to its maximum-sized 99 Wh battery and USB-C charging with up to 140 watts.

Power for a full working day: Unthinkable just a few years ago, the Stellaris 16 finally enters battery life spheres that were reserved for ultra portable laptops with a fraction of the performance just a few years ago. When browsing the web, the Linux gaming notebook provides you with energy for well over 8 hours.

For regular transportation (e.g. to the office), we recommend keeping a second original power supply at your destination. If this is not possible or desired and if you don't need full power over there, the Stellaris 16 can also be charged with up to 140 watts using a very handy, lightweight USB-C power adapter to reduce weight.

Bei vorhandenem dediziertem sowie integriertem Grafikchip, testen wir stets mit integrierter Grafik.

Temperaturgeregelter Lüfter
Bei geringer Auslastung/Beanspruchung des Systems entsteht wenig Wärme. Dementsprechend langsam kann der bzw. können die Lüfter des Kühlsystems drehen oder sich gar abschalten. Je nach Kühlsystem und verbauter CPU und Grafikkarte entsteht unter Volllast ein hohes bis sehr hohes Lüftergeräusch (Luftrauschen). Dünne Notebooks werden in der Regel bei gleicher Leistung lauter und heißer als Notebooks mit einem etwas dickeren Gehäuse und besserer Kühlung.

Mithilfe des TUXEDO Control Centers können Sie die Leistung und die Lüftersteuerung aktiv beeinflussen und so für ein etwas leiseres Gerät sorgen! So ist es Ihnen möglich, das Gerät bei stark verringerter Leistung auch nahezu passiv, also ohne jegliche Lüftergeräusche, zu betreiben!

Wir installieren Ubuntu und TUXEDO OS (basierend auf Ubuntu mit KDE Plasma Desktop) in der jeweils aktuellsten 64-Bit-Version mit Langzeit-Support.

Mit unserer vollautomatischen Installation WebFAI können Sie ganz einfach eine Linux-Installation exakt so vornehmen, wie wir bei TUXEDO es in unserer Fertigung tun! Zur Auswahl stehen alle Distributionen, die wir auch in unserem Konfigurator zur Auswahl bieten. Je nach Distribution haben Sie die Wahl zwischen verschiedenen Desktopoberflächen. Windows auf Wunsch

Wenn Sie auf Windows nicht verzichten wollen oder können, installieren wir Ihnen auch die gewünschte Windows Version neben Linux oder alleine. Bitte haben Sie Verständnis dafür, dass eine Dual-Boot-Installation trotz vollautomatischem Ablauf 1-2 Werktage mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen kann. Windows Treiber

Bereits standardmäßig liegen jedem Gerät die entsprechenden Windows-Treiber bei, egal ob mit oder ohne Windows- bzw. Betriebssystem-Installation. Alternativ können Sie die Windows-Treiber zu all unseren Geräten auch hier herunterladen.
UEFI-Firmware

Bei all unseren Notebooks haben Sie die Möglichkeit Ihre Privatsphäre bereits auf Firmware-Ebene, dem sog. UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) zu schützen.

Hierzu lassen sich folgende Funktionen komplett deaktivieren:

Darüber hinaus ist der Akku wechselbar, sofern nicht anders angegeben. Selbstverständlich können wir Ihnen auch nach Ablauf der Garantie noch über etliche Jahre hinweg Ersatzteile und Service anbieten!
