Graphics performance
This rating shows the maximum graphics performance resulting from the fastest GPU option available on the one hand and the power consumption that the cooling system is able to dissipate on the other.
The graphics card is responsible for processing and rendering all visual contents on the screen. For surfing the web, writing emails or less demanding productive work, (very) low graphics performance is fully sufficient. Image editing with several effects or cutting videos can benefit from a faster graphics card and recommend a performance indicator of at least 20 %.
For more demanding video editing in 1080p resolution or higher, 3D modeling or mainstream gaming, we recommend a mid-tier graphics card (50 % or better). Very demanding tasks like video rendering in 4K with many filters and effects, working in big 3D CAD scenes or gaming in max quality settings and 2560x1600 pixels resolution require a performance indicator of at least 70 %.
