Notebooks designed for extreme performance (especially those with high-end desktop processors) generate significantly more heat than systems with typical notebook processors, even under low load.
Therefore slightly higher basic fan noise levels are to be expected for this device. Under full load, the energy consumption of this device is far above that of a "normal" notebook, which accordingly results in higher temperatures and highly increased fan speeds.
The device does not produce any high-frequency sound or rattling, but a very clearly perceptible "air swooshing".
