My SIM card is not recognized by the system, neither under Linux nor under Windows. What could be the reason?

1. Possibility: All-In-One SIM card

This is probably due to the fact that you have an "all-in-one" SIM card, whereby the SIM can be broken out into two other small SIM sizes (Micro and Nano). Unfortunately, they are not always compatible with the eject mechanism and therefore do not fit perfectly, so they cannot be read.
In this case, it is advisable to obtain a more stable adapter elsewhere and, if necessary, to stabilize it with a tesa strip on the upper side.

2. Possibility: SIM card inserted incorrectly

This "problem" usally is a misinterpretation of the pictogramm.

In case of the "InfinityBook"-Series,
insert it with the beveled corner turned away from the device and the golden chip facing down:

Certain models (e.g. TUXEDO Book BM15) have the slot for the SIM card under the battery:

3. Possibility: Wrong size

If not specified otherwise, all of our models only accept Mini-Sim or Micro-Sim.

We suggest to look at the technical details of the laptop or contact our support, if in doubt.

4. Possibility: Driver is not configured

Even if a SIM-Card is inserted correctly, it doesn't mean that a connection attempt will happen automatically.
