Sustainability of TUXEDO Computers devices

TUXEDO Computers' manufacturing facilities for devices are certified according to the highest applicable EU directives and ISO standards as well as TÜV tested. Otherwise a sale in the EU is not possible.

  • The production facilities are WEEE-registered. This means that waste from electrical and electronic equipment and its reduction through reuse, recycling and other recovery is avoided. (WEEE-Reg.-No.: DE93420497)

  • In addition, the products are CE, RoHS (EN 50581:2012), ErP (EC 278/2009 ErPEC 617/2013 ErP - Class B, EN 50564:2011) and FCC certified.

  • In addition, our devices have a declaration of conformity and fully comply with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directives 2009/125/EC, 2011/65/EU, 2012/19/EU, 2014/30/EU and 2014/53/EU.

  • The RE Directives according to Article 3.1a (Safety), Article 3.1b (EMC) and Article 3.2 (Spectrum) are also complied with.
  • An "Environmental Management System Certificate" according to ISO14001:2015 is also available.

  • In addition, the production facilities have various certifications from TÜV Rheinland (Type Approved Safety, Regular Production Surveillance) to comply with occupational health and safety conditions and human rights, and of course proof that no child labour is performed.

  • Since TUXEDO Computers is also regionally active, the company is since 2019 part of the alliance "Augsburg handelt", in which representatives of the Augsburg civil society in Germany stand behind the demands of Fridays for Future.

  • In addition, it can be said that there are hardly any discarded devices, as they serve as spare parts for current devices and are still used internally as test devices.
