How old are you?

Recently 27.

Are you from Augsburg?

Actually I come from the district of Augsburg, but now I live right in the city and not too far from TUXEDO Computers.

How long have you been working with Linux and why?

I knew Linux from listening, but I had nothing to do with it at first. From that point of view, this is the first time I've worked with it, but I'm getting along well and was able to find my way around quickly.

How do you know TUXEDO Computers?

Actually very classic: via a job ad from TUXEDO Computers. I hadn't worked in the field of computers and IT before either.

Why did you want to work at TUXEDO Computers?

I liked the profile I was looking for and applied right away. Then everything went very quickly - an invitation arrived after a short time, the interview was great and shortly afterwards I received the acceptance and I also wanted to work at TUXEDO Computers. So the conditions were good and so far I am very satisfied and can contribute well. Since August 2020, I therefore strengthen the team in the office in the back office area.

What are you doing in your field?

This is a small mix of assistance tasks for the management and support for the support in the background. That means following up and changing orders and also all the other tasks that are necessary to ensure that communication with production runs smoothly in the background. In addition, I help with the accounting and am simply the "good soul of the office". From August of this year, I will even be the trainer for a trainee who is learning office management with us.

What do you particularly like about TUXEDO / the devices?

I had never seen before that you can individually assemble your own notebook. Absolutely rare and of course a great idea! What I like most about the company is that everyone is so open and friendly. You are accepted immediately, jokes are made and everyone gets along well. There's also a great willingness to help - which makes it a lot easier to get used to the company.

What do you dream for the (TUXEDO) future?

I look forward to TUXEDO Computers continuing to grow in a good and healthy way. The plan is that other areas will be defined even more precisely and that small secondary tasks will be even better broken down and distributed. Also, that the company personally remains as it is.

Another personal thing - what are your hobbies?

I like to paint very much and have discovered yoga for me a few years ago. I take yoga mainly as a sport. So I can relax well and do something good for my body.
