Mobile Powerhouse: InfinityBook Max 15 with Intel Core Ultra and NVIDIA GeForce RTX - TUXEDO Computers

Following the InfinityBook Max 15 with Ryzen AI processors, its sibling InfinityBook Max 15 – INTEL with Intel Core Ultra 7 255H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics and up to 128 GB RAM is now available for delivering powerful computing performance for software development, demanding media design, and gaming, while a 99 Wh battery and a weight of just under 2 kg qualify the ultra thin, all-metal notebook for very high mobility requirements.

Lightweight and Robust All-Aluminum Chassis

Despite featuring a sturdy all aluminum build, a maximally large 99Wh battery and slightly larger and heavier cooling compared to the lower-tier InfinityBook Pro 15, the new Max 15 comes in at 1.95 kg, combining a particularly lightweight and portable form factor with high performance.

This is achieved through powerful components that make the portable computer not only a great choice for software developers and content creators, but also make it suitable for GPU-based workloads and after-work gaming sessions at high quality settings.

For this, the color-adjustable keyboard backlight adds a fancy touch of gaming aesthetics, while offset positioned full-size arrow keys improve ergonomic navigation, the full-feature number pad ensures high productivity in number-crunching tasks, and rear power and monitor ports allow for a clean and distraction-free cable management.

Power-Saving yet Powerful: Intel Core Ultra 7 255H with 16 Cores

With 16 CPU cores (consisting of 6 performance cores, 8 energy-saving efficiency cores and 2 particularly low-power efficiency cores), the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H is a fast upper mid-range processor and accelerates even demanding workloads for software development or content creation.

Specified by Intel with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 20 watts to 115 watts (maximum turbo power draw), the actual performance depends on the individual laptop’s cooling solution: Despite its very thin and lightweight housing, the InfinityBook Max 15 can sustain up to 90 watts, combining high portability with powerful computing speed. The TUXEDO Control Center allows to freely adjust the power between 10 and 90 watts to balance performance and fan noise.

Fast Graphics for Work & Play

The InfinityBook Max 15’s powerful yet affordable mid-range graphics cards in the form of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 and the roughly 15% faster GeForce RTX 5070 offer approximately 3x to 4x more performance* than the InfinityBook Pro 15 (Radeon 890M) and qualify the compact Linux business notebook for graphically demanding work and PC games with high quality settings.

*In order to meet personal fan noise requirements, customers can choose the Total Graphics Power (TGP for short) between 45 and 115 watts (RTX 5060) and 50 and 115 watts (RTX 5070) respectively using the TUXEDO Control Center.

Low-Profile Cooling for up to 165 Watts

In order to dissipate the combined heat from the CPU and the graphics card in such a thin chassis, the InfinityBook Max 15 integrates a slightly larger, but virtually equally thin and light 8mm low-profile cooling (InfinityBook Pro 15: 7mm), which raises the combined maximum power at full fan speed to 165 Watts. For reference: The diameter of a 1-Eurocent coin is double the size at 16mm!

As mentioned, for quieter fan noise under load, CPU and GPU performance can be adjusted to meet the preferred acoustic level using the TUXEDO Control Center. If customers prioritize lower fan noise over highest portability though, the Stellaris 16 runs significantly to substantially quieter while delivering the same performance thanks to superior 12mm cooling and even more power-efficient graphics cards and CPUs.

Bright 500 Nits Screen, 99 Wh Battery and USB-C Charging

With 2560 × 1600 pixels in productivity-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% sRGB color space coverage and blazingly fast 300Hz refresh rate, the 330 × 207 mm sized 15.3" screen is suitable for sophisticated work, multimedia use and gaming alike, while the brightness of 500 nits ensures good legibility in bright environments.

The display lid can be tilted up to 180° for maximum flexibility for all types of laptop stands, while the privacy webcam shutter prevents unauthorized access to the 1080p webcam.

For best mobility, the InfinityBook Max is equipped with a 99 Wh battery, which is the maximum allowed for air travel, and convenient USB-C charging with up to 140 watts. For unleashing full performance, the laptop is powered by a particularly compact 240 watts GaN power supply, while even smaller and lighter USB-C chargers can be used for light use at reduced performance.

2x HDMI, Thunderbolt and up to 128 GB RAM

Speaking of USB-C: In addition to charging, the two USB-C ports (Thunderbolt4, USB-C 3.2 Gen2) – together with 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x Mini DisplayPort 2.1 – connect the notebook to up to 5 external monitors! On the data side, there are 3x USB Type-A ports for great compatibility with classic peripherals, a full-size card reader, and a LAN port.

The compact 15-inch model offers two easily accessible and upgradeable slots for up to 96 GB DDR5–6400 or 128 GB DDR5–6400 RAM and up to 8 terabytes of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
