Thanks to its highly powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 12 GB GDDR7 VRAM and the uncompromisingly fast Intel Core i9–14900HX with 24 cores, the 17.3-inch Linux laptop is one of the most affordable representatives of its size and performance class.

Solid Desktop Replacement Chassis with Classic Workstation Flair

With an overall height of just under 2.9 cm and a weight of 2.8 kg, the Linux desktop replacement is not designed to be carried around all the time, but nevertheless allows comfortable transportation over short to medium distances with ease.

In return, users are rewarded with a more capable cooling system that allows either higher performance or quieter fan noise than on many thin-and-light competitors, high-end CPU with desktop DNA and high-end GPU, a large 17.3-inch monitor for getting work done comfortably without the need for external screens, and a solid ports selection.

The classic, muted workstation design without LED bells and whistles also qualifies the device for professional use, while the quiet membrane keyboard including a full 4-column numpad features multi-color adjustable backlight for comfortable work in dimly lit environments.

High-End Graphics with 12 GB VRAM

The Gemini 17 - Gen4 is the first in this product series to feature graphics from the high-end segment: Depending on the performance profile, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, which can be run at up to the maximum 140 watts specified by NVIDIA, is suitable for games with highest detail settings, memory-intensive 3D renderings, and professional video editing thanks to its generous 12 GB GDDR7 VRAM and quality-enhanced DLSS4.

High-Performance CPU with Desktop DNA

With a whole 24 cpu cores (consisting of 8 performance-optimized cores and 16 efficiency-optimized cores), the Intel Core i9–14900HX is still a top-class computing powerhouse! With single-core speeds of up to 5.8 GHz, the processor is also an excellent choice for gaming.

Using Intel’s Hyperthreading technology, the processor can run up to 32 tasks (so-called „threads“) simultanously, promising exceptional multicore speed, which is fed by up to 115 watts in the Gemini 17. Under low load, the more power-saving Efficient-cores allow very quiet to silent operation thanks to the laptop’s large cooling capacity.  

17.3-Inch with 100% DCI-P3 and 240Hz

To show off games in great visual and immersive quality, the Gemini 17 features a large 17.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels - the optimal balance of image sharpness and computing power - and a blazingly fast 240 Hz refresh rate.

The fully covered DCI-P3 color space (₂₅% larger than the standard sRGB color gamut) ensures a vibrant representation for gaming and multimedia alike, and also qualifies the Gemini 17 for professional photo editing.

Up to 3 External High-Res Screens and 96 GB RAM

To feed the high-performance components with enough data, the Gemini 17 offers up to 96 GB of DDR5–5600 RAM, while two fast M.2 SSDs with up to 8 terabytes are available for permanent data storage.

The connectivity options include 2x DisplayPort 2.1 via USB-C and HDMI 2.1 for connecting up to 3 external high-resolution monitors. Combined with the notebook display, 4 screens can be used simultaneously.

On the data side, the Gemini 17 provides a total of 4x USB ports, including USB-C charging with 100 watts, a 2-in-1 audio jack, and an RJ45 LAN port.

Like all TUXEDO notebooks, the Gemini 17 ships with full Linux support, including pre-installed drivers, in-house developed apps for enhanced hardware functionality and Linux-trained customer support. Officially supported operating systems include our in-house curated TUXEDO OS, Ubuntu 24.04 (both with optional full disk encryption) and Windows 11.
