TUXEDO Nano Pro – Gen15 – INTEL: Tiny Linux Powerhouse - TUXEDO Computers

The TUXEDO Nano Pro returns in its 15th generation – and, unlike the last few AMD-based generations, it now runs on an Intel processor. With the Core Ultra X7 358H, the Nano Pro takes a big step forward in compute and graphics performance while staying as compact as ever: with a footprint of roughly 12 × 11 cm, it is smaller than a CD jewel case and just under 5 cm tall.

Its fast processor and wide range of internal and external ports make the Nano Pro remarkably versatile. On board are two SSD slots, two SODIMM slots for up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM, Thunderbolt 4, four display outputs, two 2.5 Gbit/s LAN ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

That makes the Linux Mini PC a great fit for everyday office work, software development, creative work and gaming, for running AI models locally and as a compact, powerful server.

The Intel Core Ultra X7 358H brings 16 cores based on Intel’s Panther Lake architecture and offers plenty of power for demanding tasks such as compiling code or rendering creative projects. Together with up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM and a fast NVMe SSD connected via PCIe 5.0 x4 in the primary slot, the Nano Pro – Gen15 – Intel becomes a compact Linux workstation that won’t slow down even sophisticated users.

LLMs: Local, Secure, Sovereign

The Nano Pro is an ideal platform for running AI models privately and locally, either on the device itself or as a server on your network. Apps like Alpaca, Moose or LM Studio set up a wide range of models in just a few clicks, and the integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics speed up token generation.

The iGPU can’t match the raw power of current dedicated graphics cards, but it uses the shared system memory of up to 128 GB directly. Dedicated GPUs, on the other hand, are limited to their VRAM, typically 8 to 32 GB. Once a model no longer fits, performance drops drastically. That makes the Nano Pro especially well suited for larger AI models.

Level Up for Integrated Graphics

The integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics don’t just accelerate AI applications – they also do well in gaming. With 12 Xe3 cores, the Nano Pro has enough power to run older or less demanding games in Full HD at high settings. With reduced graphics settings and upscalers like AMD FSR or Intel XeSS, even current titles are playable in Full HD.

TUXEDO OS: Linux Operating System Tailored to Your Nano Pro

Our goal is to bring Linux to the mainstream. That’s why the Nano Pro offers an excellent out-of-the-box experience with our in-house curated TUXEDO OS or with Ubuntu. Other distributions can be installed via TUXEDO WebFAI or the usual way. New with Gen15 is fan control in the TUXEDO Control Center, which puts the Nano Pro on par with our laptops.

TUXEDO OS requires no online account, collects no telemetry and is built on free software developed and maintained by the community. That way, you stay in full control of your system.

Like all TUXEDO computers, the Nano Pro - Gen15 ships ready-to-use with full Linux support, including in-house-developed apps for enhanced functionality and Linux-trained customer service. Officially supported operating systems include our in-house curated »TUXEDO OS«, Ubuntu (both with optional full disk encryption) and Windows 11.
