At first glance, the TUXEDO Stellaris 16 - Gen6 with a height of just over 2.6 cm and a weight of 2.5 kg may not seem particularly compact. However, a closer look at the specifications reveals that it combines the most powerful hardware on the market in a chassis that strikes a balance between effective cooling and portable dimensions. This offers both high-end desktop-level performance and lower fan noise at high work and gaming speeds.

Matte black aluminium chassis

Just a few years ago, such performance would only have been possible in large, heavy, and barely portable cases. Today, the Stellaris 16 combines a weight of 2.5 kg and a height of just 2.6 cm with enough room for powerful cooling. The stiffer display hinges provide greater stability, while the one-hand-opening feature remains intact.

The chassis is made entirely of aluminium, offering high-quality craftsmanship and a discreet, elegant design without eye-catching gamer elements, making the Stellaris 16 suitable for professional use as well. With a footprint of 35.7 x 25.3 cm, it features a quiet, full-sized keyboard with a number pad and separate arrow keys. The glass precision touchpad, with its smooth surface, ensures a comfortable user experience.

Highest graphics and processor performance

Inside the Stellaris 16, the best components available on the market can be installed, such as an Intel Core i9–14900HX processor with 24 cores and 32 threads, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 with 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM. Despite the compact design, the cooling system of the Stellaris 16 allows the full power of the hardware to be unleashed – up to 175 watts GPU and 125 watts CPU.

Efficient cooling for maximum performance or quieter operation

The 2.6 cm height has been deliberately chosen to create a good balance between performance and noise. Thanks to six heat pipes and two 12 mm fans, the Stellaris 16 can consistently cool up to 225 watts (CPU + GPU). This enables either maximum performance or quieter operation with reduced fan noise. The fans, which are 50% thicker, also produce a deeper sound, improving acoustic comfort.

For even better cooling in stationary use, the Stellaris 16 can be connected to the optional liquid-cooling docking station TUXEDO Aquaris, which supports the RTX 4080 or 4090 GPUs and enhances air cooling with water cooling.

Bright 16-inch display and powerful battery

The 16-inch display offers a high 240 Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC, and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. With a brightness of 500 cd/m² and full sRGB coverage, it’s ideal not only for gaming but also for productive applications. The 99 Wh battery provides up to 7 hours of video playback and up to 6 hours of web browsing. If less power is needed, the device can also be powered via a handy USB-C charger (Power Delivery standard).

Extensive connectivity and storage capacity

The Stellaris 16 offers Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and the ability to run up to four displays simultaneously. It also has three USB Type-A ports, an additional USB-C data port, a full-size SD card reader, and an RJ45 network port. For storage expansion, up to 8 terabytes of SSD and 64 GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM are available.

The TUXEDO Stellaris 16 - Gen6 is now available for pre-order and comes with full Linux support. TUXEDO OS, Ubuntu, Kubuntu, or optionally Windows 11 are available. The base configuration with the Intel Core i9–14900HX, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, 2x 8 GB DDR5–5600 RAM, a 500 GB Samsung 980 SSD and TUXEDO OS starts at 1979 EUR (incl. tax for German customers only) and around 1660 EUR for customers outside Europe (excl. tax).
