Ultra portable 99 Wh business notebook with 12700H, 16:10 3K display and full Linux support

InfinityBook Pro 14
Augsburg, 23. August 2022.

Augsburg (Germany) | August 23, 2022.

With the new generation of the popular InfinityBook Pro 14, TUXEDO Computers presents an ultra-mobile high-performance business notebook with 16:10 3K display and 99 Wh battery.

Battery monster - tiny chassis - maximum mobile CPU workstation

One of the highlights is the 99 Wh battery, which is uniquely huge in this form factor and maximum allowed in an airplane, which lets the notebook ascend to new runtimes: During office work and web surfing via WLAN, the Linux-Ultrabook lasts more than a full workday with around 10 hours; even up to 16 hours are possible at peak (idle) without the need for a nearby power outlet. Well, at least you even have two options to provide your InfinityBook Pro 14 with power: In addition to the handy 90-Watt power supply, the high-performance Linux ultrabook can also be charged via a convenient USB-C power supply (Power Delivery DC-In). With Intel's new high-performance processors in the form of the Core i7-12700H with 14 CPU cores, high-end performance now enters the Linux ultrabook and turns it into a maximum mobile CPU workstation.

Ultra compact magnesium chassis in Deep Grey or Ice Grey

The elegant and ultra-portable device with a height of 16 mm and 1.1 kg with 99 Wh battery or 1.3 kg in the Storage Edition impresses with a magnesium chassis and offers a choice of 2 case colors for the first time in generation 7: anthracite grey (Deep Grey) or a more bright and stylish-looking silver (Ice Grey).

14 CPU cores for groundbreaking performance

Intel's 12th generation of their Core processor line-up (codename: Alder Lake) works with total of 14 processing units divided into particularly energy-saving efficiency cores (8) and performance-optimized performance cores (6). At low load, the CPU saves energy by using the efficiency cores, while the faster performance cores are additionally switched on when the system is under full load.

This not only results in an outstanding multi-core performance for content creators and developers equally, but also makes the InfinityBook Pro 14 - Gen7 stand out as maximum mobile CPU workstation.

Bye bye, pixels!

In order to enjoy a whole new dimension of screen space and HiDPI pixel density, the TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14 - Gen7 offers our new Omnia 3K display in 16:10 aspect ratio, with which we also meet the many customer and community requests for a Linux notebook with that ratio. The advantage is obvious: More vertical screen area with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and the display brightness of around 400 cd/m2, as well as the full sRGB color space coverage.

Video game console in an ultra compact business form factor

Configure your InfinityBook Pro 14 optionally with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and turn your lightweight business laptop into an ultra-portable gaming console! The upper mid-range GPU is based on NVIDIA's current Ampere generation and includes 4 GB GDDR6 graphics memory.
Due to the Linux ultrabook's extremely thin and compact chassis, the RTX 3050 Ti is specified to run as very power-efficient Max-Q variant with a TGP of 35 watts. However, NVIDIA's Dynamic Boost technology can increase the total graphics power up to 45 watts depending on the simultaneous CPU load.

Maximum endurance or maximum storage? It is up to you!

If users are good to go with solid (instead of outstanding) battery runtimes of around 6 to 8 hours and if they prefer the highest possible storage capacity of up to 4-Terabytes, we recommend the InfinityBook Pro 14 - Storage Edition.

Users can connect both SSDs in a so-called RAID cluster and thus, and maximize the write and read speeds especially for large files (RAID 0) or activate real-time disk mirroring, where all your data is automatically stored twice and therefore fully backed up on the 2nd SSD in case of a SSD defect (RAID 1).

Full Linux support at all levels

Customers not only receive Linux notebooks and PCs with the best possible Linux support from TUXEDO Computers, but also all drivers pre-installed as well as the company's own optimized Linux distribution TUXEDO OS based on Ubuntu with KDE Plasma Desktop. With the TUXEDO Control Center (TCC) all security, performance, power, comfort functions as well as the battery life of the TUXEDO can be controlled and monitored. And with the "fully automated installation" there is also the possibility to restore the Linux system to the current delivery state within a few minutes and with just a few clicks. A comprehensive online support section, the free hotline and consulting via e-mail are also available for customers.
