TUXEDO WORKS Seven

Königsbrunn (Germany), 10th of September 2019. TUXEDO Computers recently introduced the "Deep Learning AI Edition" in its online shop. As announced at that time, customers now have a desktop PC available for stationary use: TUXEDO WORKS Seven offers an insulated housing, a maximum number of CPU cores as well as an enormous amount of RAM and several graphics cards.
The system is freely configurable and allows the compilation of the respective optimal price-performance basis for the specific project application. High-quality components ensure a long service life even in continuous load operation.

Powerful computers in continuous load operation

The "Deep Learning AI Edition" was developed together with well-known companies from the automotive, industrial and software sectors who use devices in continuous load operation in development. This combination guarantees powerful computers that are specially adapted to the needs of Deep Learning AI development. In addition, there will soon be a WebFAI installation version of TUXEDO Computers, which already installs several development environments and brings them pre-configured. However, this WebFIA installation can only be executed on devices that are also designed for the use of Deep Learning AI projects.

In addition to the various operating systems, such as Ubuntu Budgie or openSUSE 15.1 with different desktops in the latest 64-bit version, a special Deep Learning AI edition of TUXEDO_OS can be selected in addition to the adapted TUXEDO_OS based on Ubuntu with Budgie Desktop. In addition, Deep Learning AI-Edition of TUXEDO_OS configures and installs further programs:

  • Miniconda3 (Distribution/Management System)

  • CUDA (Toolkit)

  • TensorFlow (Framework)

  • PyTorch (Open source program library)

  • Jupyter Notebook (Application used to create and share documents that contain live code, equations, visualizations, and description text)

  • MXNet (Deep Learning Framework)

  • Theano (Library and Compiler for the calculation of mathematical terms in Python)

  • CNTK (Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit)

In addition to the TUXEDO WORKS Seven, there are three selected notebook variants as Deep Learning AI variants.
