Königsbrunn (Germany), 9th of September 2019. The remake of the BX1510 with 15.6 inch has the possibility to accommodate Coffee Lake Refresh CPUs due to the new BIOS system. The laptop can therefore be equipped with up to one i7-T Eight Core processor and up to 64 GB RAM of the current generation with 2666 Mhz. There is also space for an SSD and an additional SSD or HDD, which can be up to 4TB in size. Notebooks of the TUXEDO Computers Business series also feature energy-saving Intel HD 630 graphics and are ideal for everyday work and professional use. Despite the more powerful components, a battery life of 6 hours is possible. For the permanent mains operation, the point FlexiCharger is available in the BIOS of the devices: Here you can adjust the charging state of the battery from time to time. A different keyboard layout can also be selected - the BX1510 currently offers eleven different language layouts.

On request, Ubuntu Budgie 18.04 LTS or openSUSE 15.1 can be installed as well as TUXEDO_OS (based on Ubuntu with Budgie Desktop). Full hard disk encryption can also be selected. If Windows is required, this version can also be installed, beside Linux or alone.

Suitable accessories

The TUXEDO Book BX1510 has a docking port. The docking station, which is available separately, not only allows the device to be charged, but also stationary monitors, printers, hard disks and other devices can be permanently wired. In addition, a matching Notebook bag "TUXEDO Sleeve-Bag 15" as well as additional batteries, spare power supplies and much more can be ordered.

The more details you give us, the faster we can process your request!

We might not be able to answer questions about third party hardware or software. For questions about popular open source software (Thunderbird, Filezilla...) please contact a forum e.g. ubuntuforums.org. The research effort for application specific setup is immense and not manageable at the current time. Basic compatibility questions e.g. are of course still welcome!

Time of delivery

If not stated differently in the article's description, we deliver goods in:

For orders paid in advance, the delivery time starts with receipt of the payment. Please keep in mind that there is no delivery on Sundays or on holidays.
For goods delivered as download, there will be no shipping fees due.
