openSUSE 15.2 and Ubuntu LTS 20.04 now available via WebFAI and tuxedo.sh!

Augsburg (Germany), 02nd of September 2020. Both in our web-based fully automated Linux installation environment TUXEDO WebFAI and in our handy TUXEDO configuration script called tuxedo.sh for "self-installers", openSUSE Leap 15.2 and Ubuntu 20.04 are now available to our customers.

 

openSUSE Leap 15.2 in WebFAI

While Ubuntu LTS 20.04 has been available in our TUXEDO WebFAI for several weeks already, the latest version of the Linux distribution openSUSE Leap 15.2 has now been added to our fully automated installation environment after much testing and some adjustments.

Interested customers can now install and test openSUSE Leap 15.2 completely automated and pre-configured on their TUXEDO system via TUXEDO WebFAI - Stick.

tuxedo.sh now with support for Ubuntu 20.04 and openSUSE 15.2

For all TUXEDO customers, who prefer to install their desired distributions manually on their own, we provide our tuxedo.sh - script, a semi-automated small tool, which performs the driver installation, configurations for the special keys, TUXEDO driver installation, deactivation of the shopping suggestions in the Ubuntu search, for devices with NVIDIA graphics the corresponding drivers as well as switching links, TLP for better energy control and much more on your system and makes your TUXEDO computer immediately ready to start.

Our tuxedo.sh tool now includes support for Ubuntu LTS 20.04 and openSUSE Leap 15.2.
