The TUXEDO Nano is one of the smallest and most energy-saving TUXEDOs of all time!
Nevertheless, it is full of computing power, connectivity and features! It is extremely quiet and is not noticeable in operation, if at all.
The complete TUXEDO Nano measures only 11.5 x 11.1 x 5.2cm!
In addition to DDR4 memory, the latest Intel Core i Quad-Core Kaby Lake-U Refresh processors, an M. 2 NVMe SSD and a SATAIII HDD/SSD, it also offers WLAN, Gigabit LAN, USB3.0, and 2x HDMI 2.0a Ports.
You can connect up to two monitors in 4k parallel to the TUXEDO Nano, both via HDMI 2.0. Of course, there is also the possibility of using various methods, via adapter you can also connect devices via DVI or VGA. With DaisyChaining you are also able to connect up to four displays with 2k Full-HD resolution!
Up to 2x 32 GB of DDR4 RAM delivers a hugh amount of data for your TUXEDO Nano, you will never run out of RAM ;)
The connection for Gigabit-LAN is supported by a WIFI card for the fastest 802.11ac WIFI connections, including Bluetooth 4.2, of course.
For more than enough storage space, the possibility of using a normal 2.5" SATA hard disk (HDD or SSD) and a M. 2-SSD is provided!
Using these options, you can select an M. 2-SSD, for example, on which we will then install the operating system for you. An SSD leads to an extremely fast reacting system. In addition, a conventional HDD (hard disk) which serves as a large data storage device would be ideal.
This is how to cleverly combine the speed of an SSD with the storage volume of an HDD.
If you prefer to use the space on your desk or cabinet for other purposes, you can also simply attach the Nano to your monitor or TV via the VESA mounting bracket, which is included in the delivery! Of course, this also applies to a conventional VESA holding arm on the table or wall.
We install Ubuntu and TUXEDO_OS (based on Ubuntu Budgie) in the latest 64-bit version.
For advanced users and selected devices we also offer openSUSE 15 with Xfce, Gnome or KDE plasma. Of course fully configured and installed with all available updates and device drivers.
For "self-installers" and everyone who is interested, we have set up a database with downloads, instructions, tips & tricks and offer a customization script called "tuxedo.sh", which makes our customizations automatically under openSUSE and Ubuntu: Help & Support Section | tuxedo.sh
Encrypted Installation
On request we install your Linux system completely encrypted. The pre-installation as dualboot with Windows is technically not possible.

If you don't want or can't do without Windows, we install the desired Windows version next to Linux or alone. Please understand that a dual-boot installation can take 1-2 working days longer even though the process is fully automatic. Noise growth / Cooling / Ventilation / Fan
Temperature controlled silent fan
At low system workload/stress there is less heat emerging. The cooling system fans have to spin accordingly fast or slow or even turn themselves off completely. But the device doesn't produce any disturbing noises even at full load, no high frequency sounds or clatter, just air swooshing.
Custom fan control with the TUXEDO Control Center
With the TUXEDO Control Center you are able to control the behavior of the fans at yourself. This means that you get the ability to make your device as silent as possible. You are able to set the device almost passive cooled, without any fan noise most of the time!
We are personally there for you Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm (German time). But also outside these times you can contact our team with your request by e-mail. Please include your customer number, the model name of your laptop or PC and as detailed a description of your request as possible. The more details you give us, the faster we can process your request!
