Kombiniert mit dem speziell für dieses Notebook angepassten elementary OS oder Ubuntu Linux handelt es sich um ein einzigartiges Gerät mit einem einzigarten Benutzererlebnis.
In dem vollkommen aus Aluminium gefertigen Unibody stecken bereits von Haus aus ein Intel Core i7 der sechsten Generation Skylake, WLAN inkl. Bluetooth, eine beleuchtete Tastatur, USB 3.1 Typ-C sowie USB 3.0 & USB 2.0, eine Webcam inkl. Mikro und vieles mehr!
Ausrüsten läßt es sich mit bis zu 16GB Arbeitsspeicher, einer M.2 PCIe SSD sowie einer 2,5" HDD oder SSD.
Das extrem verwindungssteife und exakt gefertige Aluminiumnotebook wiegt nur 1,6kg inkl. Akku. Trotz der geringen Gehäusehöhe von lediglich maximal 1,6-2,0cm, integriert sich die beleuchtete Tastatur, sowohl optisch, wie auch funktionell optimal in das Gehäusekonzept und ist auch für Vieltipper ein Genuss. Sie hat einen klaren und eher harten Tastenanschlag und genügend Tastenhub um den Tipper auch bei längerem Schreiben bei Laune zu halten.
Nach entfernen der Gehäuseunterseite sind alle Komponenten leicht zu warten, reinigen oder auszutauschen.
Das TUXEDO InfinityBook verfügt über Intels neueste Ultrabook-Prozessoren und Intel HD 520 Grafik. Diese arbeiten energiesparend und effizient und ermöglichen so eine Akkulaufzeit von bis zu 15 Stunden. Außerdem ist es extrem dünn, was es zum idealen Begleiter und schicken Arbeitsgerät macht.
Der 15,6 Zoll große Bildschirm ist wie bei allen TUXEDO Books matt / entspiegelt, dank IPS-Technologie äußerst leuchtstark und blickwinkelstabil und stellt die Inhalte in Full-HD mit 1920 x 1080 Pixeln dar!
Kompakt aber Ideal Arbeitsgerät, denn dank der Diagonale von 15,6" steht Ihnen eine Tastatur in voller Größe zur Verfügung und ein separater Nummernblock! D.h. Sie können fast wie an einer externen Tastatur am stationären PC arbeiten.
Damit die Darstellung auf dem tollen Display auch flüssig abläuft, ist von Haus aus der stärkste Intel-U-Prozessor verbaut, ein Intel Core i7 mit 4 Threads.
Somit stehen Ihnen jetzt und auch in Zukunft jede Anwendung und sogar kleinere Spiele offen.
Bei der Festplatte können Sie eine HDD oder SSD im 2,5" Format auswählen. Außerdem besitzt das TUXEDO InfinityBook einen M.2 Slot in welchen Sie spezielle M.2-SSDs einbauen können. Wenn Sie sich für eine M.2-SSD entscheiden, installieren wir das Betriebssystem natürlich von Haus aus auf dieses besonders schnelle Speichermedium. Die weitere Festplatte dient dann als "Datengrab".
Für die nötigen Netzwerkverbindungen können Sie über WLAN in ac/a/b/g/n Geschwindigkeit, Bluetooth oder per kabelgebundenem Gigabit-LAN sorgen. Für Letzteres bieten wir praktische USB-to-Lan Adapter preisgünstig an.
Auch die übrigen Ausstattungsmerkmale lassen keine Wünsche offen: 1,0 MP Webcam inkl. Mikro, 1x USB3.1 Typ-C sowie 2x USB3.0 & 2x USB2.0, HDMI, Card-Reader und natürlich ein Kopfhöreranschluss.

We install Ubuntu and TUXEDO_OS (based on Ubuntu Budgie) in the latest 64-bit version.
For advanced users and selected devices we also offer openSUSE 15 with Xfce, Gnome or KDE plasma. Of course fully configured and installed with all available updates and device drivers.
For "self-installers" and everyone who is interested, we have set up a database with downloads, instructions, tips & tricks and offer a customization script called "tuxedo.sh", which makes our customizations automatically under openSUSE and Ubuntu: Help & Support Section | tuxedo.sh
Encrypted Installation
On request we install your Linux system completely encrypted. The pre-installation as dualboot with Windows is technically not possible.

Windows on request
If you don't want or can't do without Windows, we install the desired Windows version next to Linux or alone. Please understand that a dual-boot installation can take 1-2 working days longer even though the process is fully automatic. Please also note that we provide you with a correct Windows license incl. license sticker and installation DVD!

The corresponding Windows drivers are already included as standard with every device, regardless of whether it is with or without Windows or operating system installation. Alternatively you are free to download alle Windows-Drivers from here.
What are we customizing at the time of installation
We don't just simply install Linux but also customize a lot so that you get a perfectly running and working system! This is what we do:
Driver installation, configuration of special keys, TUXEDO drivers, TRIM commands for SSDs, disabling shopping suggestions at Ubuntu search, various additional packages and tools for configuration and to enhance user friendliness, at devices with NVIDIA graphics the respective drivers including Prime for switching and much more!
TUXEDO driver / TUXEDO WMI
Laptop have some special keys which won't work out of the box with Linux. For example the so called "Flight mode key" for (de)activating WIFI & Bluetooth etc.
To get them running we developed our own drivers and preinstall them (if you select Linux als desired operating system). For everyone curious and manual installers this driver is available at our support database:

Customisations during manual installations / TUXEDO script / TUXEDO driver
If you prefer to install you Linux operating system by yourself or if you have to reinstall it, we provide you with everything necessary at our support database to get it running like we do!
The easiest way is to go with our customisation script "tuxedo.sh". On Ubuntu and Ubuntu-base systems this script automatically runs all customisations the way we do that during preinstallation: installing drivers, configuration for special keys, TUXEDO drivers, TRIM commands for SSDs, deactivating shopping recommendations in Ubuntu search, various additional packages and toos for configuration an to enhance user friendliness, respective driveres on devices with NVIDIA graphics incl. We're testing battery time always in idle mode, at minimal display brightness, with keyboard backlight deactivated, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth disabled and without any further connected devices (USB, LAN, HDMI, VGA etc. unplugged!). We always test with integrated graphics when a dedicated and integrated graphics chip is installed.
This way you get an information of maximal possible battery life. Starting from this, you can manage your individual battery life depending on your demands and to influence it, e.g. is keyboard backlight unnecessary during daylight. Bluetooth is also only needed to be turned on, if there's a Bluetooth device connected. Full display brightness as well is hardly always necessary.

All devices have a maintenance-friendly design. Depending on the model, the essential hardware components such as processor, drive, hard disks, RAM, WIFI modules etc. can be accessed via maintenance flaps or removable floor trays. Furthermore the battery is replaceable if not stated differently. Of course, even after expiration of your warranty period, we're offering replacement parts and service for many years!

At low system workload/stress there is less heat emerging. The cooling system fans have to spin accordingly fast or slow or even turn themselves off completely. But the device doesn't produce any disturbing noises even at full load, no high frequency sounds or clatter, just air swooshing.
Custom fan control with the TUXEDO Control Center
With the TUXEDO Control Center you are able to control the behavior of the fans at yourself. This means that you get the ability to make your device as silent as possible. You are able to set the device almost passive cooled, without any fan noise most of the time!
As accessories you can select an additional external display for enjoying dual display operating together with the laptop.
Furthermore we deliver a wired or wireless keyboard including a mouse or an additional wired mouse. These input devices are produced by Logitech and are only available with German layout!
