The TUXEDO Nano Pro - Gen15 - Intel is extremely small (roughly 11 cm by 12 cm, 5 cm in height) - yet its number of use cases is so big!

While scoffing at everyday office usage, the Nano Pro does not shy away from more demanding Linux workstation tasks or lightweight gaming due to its powerful CPU and integrated graphics. Equipped with up to 128 GByte of DDR5 RAM it can also serve relatively big local AI models, accelerating their execution using said powerful integrated graphics processing unit. Its strong selection of ports and easy upgradability and maintainability also make it suitable for tinkerers in home lab settings.

The Nano Pro handles these and other use cases quickly and quietly while barely using any space at all on the desk, stowed away behind the monitor using a VESA mount or placed anywhere else.

With the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H CPU at its core, the 15th generation of TUXEDO Nano Pro is equipped with plenty of processing power to deal even with demanding tasks.

16 CPU cores based on Intel’s Panther Lake architecture paired with up to 128 GByte of RAM handle everyday office use with ease and provide a pleasant user experience during more demanding software development and creative tasks such as code compilation and rendering.

Thanks to its fast storage interface, offering four lanes of up to PCIe 5.0 throughput, the tiny powerhouse doesn’t break a sweat in I/O intensive usage scenarios.

LLMs: Local, Secure, Sovereign

The TUXEDO Nano Pro - Gen15 - Intel offers you a performant platform for the direct usage and also hosting of locally executed private LLMs. Graphical user interfaces like Alpaca, Moose and LM Studio make setup easy with just a few clicks and you’re off to asking the big questions in no time!

With up to 128 GByte of RAM, the Nano Pro can handle even relatively big AI models and process tokens fairly quickly using its powerful integrated graphics unit - more directly accessing data in RAM and not held back by limited dedicated graphics memory size.

That way the Nano Pro always offers you a sovereign digital assistant - even offline - without the need for online accounts or monthly subscription fees. Additionally, because no chat data leaves the Nano Pro, the locally running models can be used for the processing of confidential documents.

Level Up for Integrated Graphics Performance

Also for the occasional gaming session, the Nano Pro doesn’t need to drop out of the lobby! Its powerful Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics unit can run older or less demanding contemporary titles in Full-HD and beyond with high-quality settings.

Even more demanding recent games can be played on the Nano Pro, granted that compromises are made on rendering resolution and graphical fidelity and that upscaling technologies are used when needed.

All necessary graphics drivers are already included in the Linux kernel and the abundantly distributed Mesa driver stack, making gaming on the Nano Pro - Intel a plug-and-play experience on practically every current Linux distribution.

Something about the Nano Pro that’s not small? Its selection of ports!

Ranging from Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C to several USB-A, HDMI and 2.5 Gbit/s LAN ports as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless connectivity - the Nano Pro has got you covered.

For deployment on the desktop, the Nano Pro drives up to four 4K displays and can also be stowed away behind them using a VESA mount for a cleaned up setup. On the other hand, its two fast 2.5 Gbit/s LAN ports make it suitable for headless operation as well to provide a powerful and compact server for productive deployment or experimentation in a home lab setting.

All you need is… to remove four screws!

As is customary for TUXEDO products, the 15th generation of TUXEDO Nano Pro also makes it easy for the user to open up the device and upgrade or change its core components. Only four long screws within its feet need to be removed and you’re in! There you can access both RAM slots, both SSD slots and the network card slot for easy exchange, upgrade or cleaning off dust.

Right to Repair & Upgade

With chassis designs becoming increasingly thinner, more compact, and lighter, it is difficult to install modular, upgradeable components in such confined spaces. Furthermore, soldered components offer undeniable advantages in terms of efficiency and a lower risk of failure due to the elimination of mechanical mounts. Nevertheless, at TUXEDO, we strive to offer our customers upgradeable hardware wherever technically and economically feasible, so that you can use your TUXEDO for as long as you like.

Your TUXEDO. Your right to upgrade and maintain your device. At TUXEDO, we believe that customers should have the right to open their computers for upgrade and maintenance purposes (e.g., to clean the fans or replace the battery) without voiding the warranty. To this end, we provide instructions to enable even users with little hardware expertise to clean or upgrade their device.

To maintain the warranty, it is essential to proceed with the utmost care and diligence. Damage resulting from improper maintenance or upgrades is, of course, not covered by the warranty. The same applies to maintenance procedures that affect critical system components, such as disassembling the cooling system. Therefore, if you are unsure, please contact our customer support first.

Operating systems
We install Ubuntu and TUXEDO OS (based on Ubuntu with KDE Plasma Desktop) in their latest version with long term support.

Using our WebFAI you can easily perform a Linux installation exactly as we at TUXEDO Computers do it in our production! Depending on the distribution, you have the choice between different desktop interfaces. More informations, a video demo as well as detailed instructions can be found here.

For "self-installers" and all who are interested, we have set up a database with downloads, instructions, tips & tricks.
Encrypted Installation

On request, we install your Linux system completely encrypted. The pre-installation as dual boot with Windows is technically not possible.

Windows on request

If you don't want or can't do without Windows, we install the desired Windows version next to Linux or alone. Please understand that a dual-boot installation can take 1-2 working days longer, even though the process is fully automatic. Please also note that we provide you with a physical Windows license incl. license sticker and installation DVD!

Warranty

All devices have a maintenance-friendly design. Depending on the model, the essential hardware components such as processor, drive, hard disks, RAM, WIFI modules etc. can be accessed via maintenance flaps or removable floor trays. Furthermore the battery is replaceable if not stated differently. Of course, even after expiration of your warranty period, we're offering replacement parts and service for many years!

For warranty cases, we'll provide you with a free return label after getting in touch with us. Warranty handling is done via our technical support. Please note our warranty conditions

We might not be able to answer questions about third party hardware or software. For questions about popular open source software (Thunderbird, Filezilla...) please contact a forum e.g. ubuntuforums.org. The research effort for application specific setup is immense and not manageable at the current time. Basic compatibility questions e.g. are of course still welcome!
