The InfinityBook Max is literally the infamous “wolf in sheep's clothing”: Wearing a very thin, light, and elegant matte black aluminum housing, the 15.3-inch laptop is dressed in an inconspicuous business outfit.

However, under the hood hide powerful components that make the highly portable computer not only a great choice for software developers and media professionals, but also make it suitable for GPU-based workloads and after-work gaming sessions at high quality settings.

For this, the color-adjustable keyboard backlight adds a fancy touch of gaming aesthetics, while offset positioned full-size arrow keys improve ergonomic navigation, the full-feature number pad ensures high productivity in number-crunching tasks, and rear power and monitor ports allow for a clean and distraction-free cable management.

Low Profile Cooling for up to 150 Watts

Despite delivering 3x to 4x the graphics performance compared to its sibling, the Max 15 features a form factor that is nearly as thin and light as the one of the InfinityBook Pro 15.

In order to dissipate the additional 50 to 115 Watts (adjustable) from the GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070, the Max 15 integrates a slightly larger, but virtually equally thin and light 8mm low profile cooling, which raises the maximum power at full fan speed to 150 Watts. For reference: The diameter of a 1-Eurocent coin is double the size at 16mm!

For quieter fan noise under load, CPU and GPU performance can be adjusted to the personally preferred acoustic level using the TUXEDO Control Center. If you prioritize lower fan noise over highest portability though, the Stellaris 16 runs significantly to substantially quieter while delivering the same performance thanks to superior 12mm cooling and even more power-efficient graphics cards and CPUs under load.

Fast Graphics for Work & Play

Equipped with fast NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards, the Max 15 is also suitable for graphically demanding workloads and PC games at high quality settings.

The InfinityBook Max features NVIDIA's powerful yet affordable mid-range models in the form of the GeForce RTX 5060 and the roughly 10% faster GeForce RTX 5070, which outperform the InfinityBook Pro 15's integrated graphics unit Radeon 890M by the factor of 3x to 4x. This makes the Linux gaming business laptop a great choice for 3D animation, GPU-based calculations and PC gaming at the display's native resolution and high quality settings.

In order to meet your personal fan noise requirements, the Total Graphics Power (TGP for short) can be freely chosen between 45 and 115 watts (RTX 5060) and 50 and 115 watts (RTX 5070) respectively using the TUXEDO Control Center.

The InfinityBook Max 15 relies on AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors which are targeted on providing a great balance of performance and power efficiency.

The entry-level model, the Ryzen AI 7 350, features 8 CPU cores processing up to 16 threads at 10 to 65W of power. It offers far more than enough speed for all everyday usage scenarios and even provides performance headroom for more demanding projects.

The Ryzen AI 9 365 provides 10 cores and around 15% faster multi-core speed at 10 to 90W, while the equally powered Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 12 processing cores places itself ahead by another 15%.

The Ryzen AI engine, which gives the CPU line-up their name, performs AI calculations for image or text generation, AI assistance functions, and much more, with up to 66 (AI 7 350), 73 (AI 9 365), and 80 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, locally on the computer for data protection reasons.

Under low load, AMD Ryzen AI processors excel with very low power consumption for long battery life and quiet operation.

99Wh Battery and USB-C Charging With 140 Watts

For best mobility, the InfinityBook Max is equipped with a 99 Wh battery, which is the maximum allowed for air travel, providing the Linux business laptop with up to 10 hours of runtime, and convenient USB-C charging with up to 140 watts.

For unleashing full performance, the laptop is powered by a particularly compact 240 watts power supply, while even smaller and lighter USB-C chargers can be used for lighter use at reduced performance.

For an energy-saving operation, we recommend our predefined power profiles as well as the manual CPU power limit settings in our inhouse-developed TUXEDO Control Center, that comes preinstalled on your TUXEDO laptop.

2x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort and 5x USB

Infinite ports variety: In addition to USB4 with full Thunderbolt functionality, the InfinityBook Max 15 provides not only a second USB-C port but also a Mini DisplayPort for up to three external monitors.

What sets the interface selection even more apart, is two HDMI ports, one of which is connected via the NVIDIA graphics and the other via the cpu's energy-efficient integrated graphics unit, raising the amount of connectable high-res monitors to a total of five.

While both USB-C connections allow charging the Linux business laptop via USB-C Power Delivery, 3x USB-A care for compatibility with classical peripherals. The placement of the less frequently unplugged monitor and power ports to the rear, ensures a clean and distraction-free cable management.

Temperature controlled fan
At low system workload, there is less heat emerging. The cooling system fans can spin accordingly slow or even turn themselves off completely. Depending on the chassis, cooling system and CPU and GPU, high to very high fan noise (air swooshing) is produced under full load. Thinner notebooks normally tend to get louder due to less cooling capacity.

With the TUXEDO Control Center you are able to control the performance and the behavior of the fans by yourself. This means that you get the ability to make your device as quiet as possible. By heavily reducing the performance you are able to set the device almost passive cooled, without any fan noise most of the time!

We install Ubuntu and TUXEDO OS (based on Ubuntu with KDE Plasma Desktop) in the latest 64-bit version with long term support.

With our fully automatic installation WebFAI you can easily perform a Linux installation exactly as we at TUXEDO Computers do it in our production! You can choose from all distributions that we also offer in our configurator. Depending on the distribution, you have the choice between different desktop interfaces. More backgrounds and a video demo as well as detailed instructions can be found here.

For "self-installers" and all who are interested, we have set up a database with downloads, instructions, tips & tricks and offer Tomte, a tool that automatically makes our adjustments under Ubuntu, elementary OS and Linux Mint:

Encrypted Installation

On request, we install your Linux system completely encrypted. The pre-installation as dual boot with Windows is technically not possible.

Windows on request

If you don't want or can't do without Windows, we install the desired Windows version next to Linux or alone. Please understand that a dual-boot installation can take 1-2 working days longer, even though the process is fully automatic. Please also note that we provide you with a correct Windows license incl. license sticker and installation DVD!

Windows Drivers

The corresponding Windows drivers are already included as standard with every device, regardless of whether it is with or without Windows or operating system installation. Alternatively, you are free to download all Windows-Drivers from here.
UEFI firmware

With all our notebooks you have the possibility to protect your privacy already on BIOS level. For this purpose the following functions can be completely deactivated:

In addition, our Premium BIOS allows chipset-specific settings and definitions for components via various profiles in order to operate the device optimally depending on its use.

Depending on the model, the essential hardware components such as processor, drive, hard disks, RAM, WIFI modules etc. can be accessed via maintenance flaps or removable floor trays. Furthermore the battery is replaceable if not stated differently. Of course, even after expiration of your warranty period, we're offering replacement parts and service for many years!
